Booking Your Session
To provide you with the best photography experience possible, I would like to meet with you first before the session. So please call me 403.304.7690. This get together and chat provides you with the opportunity to meet with me to determine if I'm the right photographer for you. The reason for this is that you will need to be comfortable with me in the session so you don't look like a deer in the headlights, if you know what I mean. I want to ensure your experience is a positive one that will keep you coming back. To tell your friends about the great time you had and rave about all the wonderful photographs that were taken. So this first get together should reveal if we have a connection that will go a long way towards photographing the real you.
Secondly, it gives us an opportunity to go over and review what style of imagery you would like created and express your ideas and desires and the purpose of the photo shoot. This way we are on the same page when it comes time to create the photography together. I view portrait photography as a team effort so in order to create outstanding results, we have to work like a team. Through this planning conversation, I'll gain a good understanding of your imagery styles and goals as to whether you'd like glamour, an actor or actress head shot, a family portrait, a photograph for your business card, shoot on location or in your home or a full set of photographs taken in the studio for your portfolio. This lays the ground work to ensuring that you will be excited with your photographs and the session at the end of the day.
And lastly after our discussion, I will know what lighting equipment I will need for the shoot so I can have all the gear ready and set up upon your arrival so you don’t have to wait around watching me set up the lights and props. This way we can spend more time creating the photography.
